American forces targeted tribes of Al-Falahat and Al-Ayeed by aggressive Ariel bombardment to their villages in Al-Tajji area then conducted raids to their locations.
Some operations lasted in some places from 11pm till 3am resulting to arrest 65 persons but fatal causalities are unknown yet.
The reason for the bombing and raids was the setting fire in two American vehicles and killing all soldiers.
The American forces in this area had a honey moon period during their support given to Alfallahat tribe. The shia in this area paid dearly for this support especially after AlFallahat infiltration into the ninth army brigade which controlling the area.
All evidences given to the American forces proving the existence of systematic and daily massacres of Shia within Al-Fallahat area were rejected by the Americans because the leaders of the Iraqi army ninth brigade mislead the Americans by not taking them to the reported areas.
The Al-Fallahat was responsible for the kidnapping of many shia worked in Al-Nasr establishment and slaughter them afterwards with incorporation of the establishment guards and one officer in army ninth brigade.
