Units of the armed forces clashed with Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists in several areas in Aleppo and its countryside, killing many and destroying four mortars, an anti-aircraft gun in addition to other heavy machineguns.
An official source told SANA reporter that a number of terrorists were killed in the surrounding of Aleppo Central Prison. An RPG launcher and B-10 cannon were destroyed.
A gathering of Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists to the north of the Industrial City in al-Sheikh Najjar area was destroyed.
The source added that units of the armed forces repelled terrorist groups which tried to attack the residents in the areas of Suleiman al-Halabi and Bustan al-Qasr, killing and injuring many of their members.
Another army unit foiled an attempt by a group of terrorists to infiltrate into al-Ashrafiya to the east of Bustan al-Basha neighborhood and destroyed a heavy machinegun and a mortar they had with them.
The source mentioned that numbers of terrorists were killed in the neighborhood of al-Sakhour area and Bustan al-Basha.
In the city of Aleppo, units of the armed forces eliminated a number of terrorists at the crossroads of al-Sheikh Khudr and destroyed a 23 mm anti-aircraft gun in Beni Zaid area.
An army unit, the source said, killed 11 terrorists and destroyed their mortar near Salah Eddin Mosque in al-Ashrafiya. Three terrorists were killed in Qastal Harami in the old city of Aleppo.
A citizen martyred, 29 injured by terrorists' mortar shells in Damascus
One citizen was martyred and others injured when terrorists launched mortar shells on al-Abasiyeen area, Bab Sharqi and Ibn al-Nafis Hospital in Damascus on Thursday.
A source at the police command said that a mortar shell slammed into coach station in al- Abasiyeen area, killing a young man and injuring eight others, also causing material damage to several buses.
The source added that two other mortar shells fell near Dirar Mosque in Bab Sharqi, injuring 14 citizens, one of them seriously, and causing material damage to four cars in the area.
The source added that a third mortar fell in the vicinity of Ibn al-Nafis Hospital, causing no casualties.
Terrorists fired two mortar shells on Souq al-Hal in al-Zablatani area, injuring seven citizens and causing material damage.
Operations continue in Damascus and its countryside, many terrorists killed
A unit of the armed forces killed and injured a number of terrorists from the so-called "Shabab al-Huda Battalions" during a special operation it carried out in Karam al-Rasas farms in Douma area.
An official source told SANA reporter that terrorists Mohammad Taha and Yasin al-Biswani were identified among the dead.
The source pointed out that units of the armed forces dismantled 10 explosive devices weighing 20-25 kg that had been planted by terrorists in the middle of Douma city.
The reporter quoted the source as saying that army units chased down armed terrorist groups in the farms surrounding al-Bahariya and Deir Salman towns in the Eastern Ghouta. A den including weapons and ammunition was destroyed and many terrorists were killed, including Osama Hijazi and Mohammad Rummaneh.
In Joubar, an army unit killed Mustafa al-Afandi, leader of an armed terrorist group, and a number of the group's members to the southeast of Pullman garage in Damascus.
A number of terrorists' dens on Barzeh-al-Qaboun road in Damascus were destroyed along with the weapons and ammunition inside. All terrorists inside the dens were killed.
The source told SANA that units of the armed forces clashed with terrorist groups in Hijjeira town, killing a number of terrorists, among them were Kazem Tin and Bashar al-Mashtouli. Two heavy machineguns were destroyed in the operation.
Another army unit hunted fleeing terrorists in the area surrounding al-Bahdaliyeh, which yesterday came under the control of the army, town and killed many of them. The Palestinian Mahmoud al-Zanghari from Jabhat al-Nusra was identified among the dead.
Meanwhile, a military source told SANA reporter that army units killed numbers of terrorists in Wadi al-Jurd in Beit Jenn area and destroyed their equipment.
Terrorists killed in large numbers in Homs
A unit of the armed forces carried out a special operation against a terrorist group's gathering in al-Rastan city in Homs which resulted in killing many terrorists and destroying various weapons, including heavy machineguns.
An official source told SANA reporter that Ahmad Alwan, leader of an armed terrorist group, was identified among the dead, in addition to Mohsen al-Homsi, Mohsen Mansour and Ahmad al-Dali.
The source added that another army unit ambushed members of a terrorist group between the towns of al-Breij and Sadad in Hasyaa city in the countryside of Homs. The operation resulted in killing 7 terrorists.
Members of an armed terrorist group that have been committing acts of looting and blocking roads near al-Abassiyeh crossroads on Damascus-Palmyra highway were killed. 12 other members were arrested.
In the city of Homs, units of the armed forces clashed with terrorists near Sayyedat al-Salam Church in Bb Hood neighborhood and Khadija School in al-Qusour neighborhood. Many terrorists were killed and others were injured.
Terrorists' hideouts destroyed in Daraa
A military source told SANA that a unit of the armed forces destroyed terrorists' hideouts in the villages of al-Shabrak, Sisoun, Tsil, Jilin, Jamleh, Tafas and al-Mzairib in Daraa, with all the weapons inside them.
The source added that an armed terrorist group, which was committing looting acts and cutting the roads near Tal al-Jumooa on Sahem al-Golan road was eliminated as its weapons were destroyed.
Weapons seized in Quneitra, terrorist leader killed
In Quneitra countryside, a unit of the armed forces seized amounts of weapons and ammunition in Jiba town and killed terrorist Ekrima al-Da'as, the leader of an armed terrorist group affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra, and arrested others.
Terrorists attacking military checkpoints in Hasaka repelled
Meanwhile, an official source said that a unit of the armed forces clashed with terrorists who attacked military checkpoints in al-Basel, al-Muhafaza and al-Sabbagh roundabouts in Hasaka city, killing and injuring a number of them and destroying their weapons.
Jabhat al-Nusra terrorists killed in Deir Ezzor
Army units clashed with terrorists affiliated to Jabhat al-Nusra in al-Sina'a, al-Jbeileh and al-Ummal neighborhoods in Deir Ezzor city, destroying their weapons and ammunitions.
An official source told SANA that a number of terrorists were killed in the clashes, among them Ahmad al-Ahmad al-Hussein, Tawfik al-Ragheb and Abdul-Hamid Darwish.
The source added that an army unit destroyed a den for terrorists in al-Mere'ie village in Deir Ezzor countryside.
